Grading Art Examples

We understand that sometimes there are teams behind the art, we consider if the artist is proficient in either all aspects of an expert in what they worked on. So perhaps there is an artist talented in Character Design. Then that is how we will grade; on the best skill shown in the art piece.

Please also note that we do not count for followers as a reason to grade your art. You can be an Intermediate: Low artist and be a very popular, high follower, renowned artist!

Professional, triple-A studio-level art. Typically something you can find in popular games, anime or media.

Artist has been working for ten or more years as an artist. With several professional contracts, having worked with countless clients, you have achieved greater success as an artist. You have almost nothing left to learn from others. You can only hone your craft and leave that everlasting art.

What makes something expert-looking?
Besides the history and time invested into the crafts, thousands of hours over years.

We can define expert work with:
Refinement: Cleanest Lines / Lineless, color blending / color theory, perfect anatomy / proportions
Complexity: Lighting, angle, different anatomy.
Over All Scene: Whether it is one character or many, a background should give a complete, impactful scene. Many factors of what each character is doing, with the action in the scene along with the background.

With 4-5 years or more under the artists belt, you have grasped almost all the fundamentals to the highest level. You have achieved great success and are happy with yourself, but you don't have just one thing... Professional experience / acknowledgement to really cement yourself for something on a grand space.

You have a good grasp of anatomy, background, clothes physics etc. Your drawings turn out pretty well and you have found some success in the field too. Perhaps, your art lacks harmony and synergy, making it hard to stand out.
Another thing is that you have refined normal poses and scenes; so now you should begin experimenting with different lighting, more dynamic ranges of colors, and more difficult perspectives

Artist has been drawing for a year or two, know the basics well, and you understand the fundamentals of colour theory, ambient occlusion etc to some extent. Perhaps, your understanding is still lacking and you haven't found your style yet.

Must have Sold Art. :vv_Dot:Must have proof of 25+ Artworks. :vv_Dot:Must send 3 separate art. :vv_Dot:Must also be graded by a@Art Committee to meet refinement qualities.

"Artist have been drawing for a few months, maybe half a year. Artist knows what layers are, what colour modes are, Artist know some of the colour theories but can't seem to figure out how to implement them correctly."
